In 2019, I was involved in a chemical plant explosion which resulted in many doctor’s visits, surgeries, therapies, difficult challenges and ultimately deal with PTSD daily that has affected not only me but my family as well.
Prior to that accident, life was thrilling and adventurous. I enjoyed fishing, four-wheeling, watching football with those closest to me, spending time outdoors with my grandchildren, and truly living life to the fullest.
Years later, overcoming all the bumps life threw at me, and with my dog Blue by my side, a vision came to life—a vision to create inspirational apparel and accessories that host powerful words to give people hope, in a time when many have lost hope.
The brand name is composed of my service dog’s name, Blue, and part of my name, Eli. Together, we are unstoppable and can defeat anything life brings. Blue has helped bring me back to life in the darkest of times and helps calm me when the PTSD is too much.
The goal of the Blue Eli brand is to support all people dealing with PTSD, along with their families, and to serve as a reminder of pride, bravery, and above all, the importance of never giving up. Our wish is that these apparel and accessories will brighten your lives, help make a positive difference in this world, and allow your story to shine through.
